Her favorite superhero is Spider Gwen. She loves the Spiderverse and Spider Gwen because Spider Gwen is a powerful, independent, intelligent woman and superhero. Nova is all about girl power, as a young, incredible Black girl, and really loves seeing a cool girl with great aesthetic that she can admire and look up to.
Nova has a strong sense of right and wrong, and has always been protective of those around her. From her parents introducing her to superheroes, her middle name being after Jean Grey, and her finding ones to love all on her, that love for superheroes came at a young age and naturally.
Nova would like to shapeshift into different animals. She really loves different creatures (so much so, that she has stated she wants to be a zoologist or a marine biologist) and admires their different strengths and capabilities. She said their different abilities would be very helpful depending on the situation.
