Spider-Man is Oliver’s favorite superhero because he saves people and fights bad guys. He can shoot webs and swing from building to building. Oliver loves to swing too because it helps clear his head and makes him feel calm. He likes swinging high and looking around. Spider-Man does the same as he searches for people who need help. He is strong, brave, and always saves the day. Plus, Spider-Man games and movies are awesome!
Oliver’s Ma and Pa first introduced him to superheroes when they bought capes and masks for all three of them, turning ordinary days at their house into magical adventures. They would dress up, race through the house, and pretend they were saving everyone. Then his cousin Brody showed him just how awesome Spider-Man is, and Oliver was hooked! He loved imagining he could fly, swing through the air, and have superpowers of his own.
If Oliver could have a superhero power, he would want to be able to speak and understand any language that is being spoken to him or around him. He thinks that would be a fantastic superpower because he could talk to anyone. It would help him with his future business because he could work with people from all over the world.
