Oliver can turn an ordinary day into an adventure. He’s curious, hilarious, fearless, and has a heart bigger than any superpower.

Ollie just turned six, and superheroes helped him find his voice. After experiencing developmental setbacks as a toddler, including a speech delay, we made literacy a priority. Spider-Man became our bridge to books, imagination, and learning. What started as a little boy’s fascination with superheroes has grown into a love of stories. Watching him discover the power of reading has been one of my greatest joys as his mother. Every child deserves to discover that their imagination is a super power
Once Oliver realized there were people who could swing from buildings, wear awesome suits and defeat the bad guys, he was sold. Since then, superheroes have become less of something he watches and more of something he imagines himself becoming.
Oliver would want to be invisible because, in his words, “then I could scare the thieves!” He’d sneak up on the bad guys before they ever saw him coming. But saving the day isn’t his only plan, he says invisibility would also make him REALLY good at hide-and-seek!
