Orion doesn’t have one favorite superhero—he loves the idea of superheroes themselves. He is fascinated by their strength, courage and ability to overcome obstacles. In many ways, that is what I see in Orion every day. He has faced countless surgeries and challenges since birth, yet he remains incredibly strong, courageous, and possesses an undeniable spirit that continues to rise up to every challenge.
Orion’s love of superheroes comes from their heart and spirit of determination. Orion has faced more surgeries and challenges than most people could imagine, yet he remains incredibly strong, joyful and full of life. Just because he can’t speak as we do- doesn’t mean he can’t connect. I think superheroes appeal to him because they show us that differences don’t have to limit what is possible.
Orion would want the power to make the world accessible to everyone. He would make every place, adventure and experience welcoming to people of every ability, so no one is left out. Orion loves music, water and being with the people he loves, and he knows what it feels like when the world isn’t built for you. His superpower would be making sure everyone gets to be part of the fun and has a voice. He is highly sensitive to people and their energy, people are drawn to him because of his energy.
