Owen’s favorite superhero is Spider-Man. He admires Spider-Man because he is responsible, kind, and always tries to help others, even when it isn’t easy. Owen also likes that Spider-Man has faced his own internal struggles and difficult choices. For example, when Venom takes over Spider-Man, he has to fight to regain control and choose the right path. Owen admires that Spider-Man doesn’t let his struggles define him and continues to make good choices and stand up for others.
Owen’s love of superheroes started with me, dad. I’ve always loved superheroes, and his mom has embraced Wonder Woman as a strong female superhero. We’ve nurtured Owen’s love through superhero themed birthdays, movies, and even dressing up as superheroes for Halloween. Over the years, superheroes have become something we enjoy together as a family, and Spider-Man has become Owen’s favorite.
Owen would want Spider-Man’s web-slinging ability. He thinks it would be an incredible feeling, like being on the biggest roller coaster in the world, swinging through the air with nothing holding you back. But he also likes that webs could help you get away when you need to.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Kid, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
