Her love of superheroes really grew from all the movies we’ve watched together over the years. But I’ve always taught her that everyone has their own superpower in life. It might not be flying or having super strength,it could be kindness, empathy, courage, creativity, or simply being there for someone who needs you. I remind her that we all have something special inside of us that we can use to help make the world a better place.
If she could choose any superpower, I believe she would choose empathetic telepathy: the ability to feel and understand what others are feeling. She has always had a special way of noticing when someone needs a little extra love& comfort, even when they don’t say it out loud. I’ve been told so many times that she has a way of making people smile, even when they are going through a dark place.helping to feel seen and never alone!
