He was a normal kid got bite by a spider and ended up with super powers, rayland being a young kid who has been poked, tested, constantly seen by doctors i think relates to Spiderman in his own way. He thinks he can do anything and absolutely trys.
We where told by doctors that Most medically needy kids have attachments to horror characters such as chucky, ghost face , Jason etc but also are attracted to super heros because of their powers and being able to take on more than someone "normal" could handle. That's how all these kids are. They have been through so much but you will never hear most of them complain. These kids are strong, unbreakable and determined. Just like the super heros we all love.
He has a big heart and loves helping people so any kind of power that would allow him to do just that i believe rayland would be ok with. flying or shooting webs would also be in his top list.
