River’s superpower is kindness. He looks out for his sister, stands by his friends, and has a gift for making everyone feel like they belong

River’s favorite superhero is Spider-Man. He loves that Spider-Man is an ordinary kid who chooses to help others. He’s brave, funny and loyal, but what River admires most is that Spider-Man uses what he has to protect people. River understands that kind of heroism. To him, being a hero isn’t about being the strongest person in the room—it’s about being there when someone needs you.
River has loved superheroes for as long as I can remember. At first it was the costumes, adventures and incredible powers, but as he’s grown, I think he’s connected with what heroes stand for. River doesn’t see the differences that can sometimes keep people apart he just sees someone he can be a friend to. Whether he’s looking out for his sister, helping someone or standing beside a friend, that heroic spirit is already part of who he is.
River would choose Spider-Man’s powers especially being able to swing through the city! But I know River once the excitement wore off, he’d start thinking about how he could use those powers to help someone. He’d want to protect his family, be there for his friends and get to someone who needed him. That’s the wonderful thing about River give him a superpower, and he’d find a way to share it.
