Ryders favorite Superhero has always been Spider-Man. He admires him the most because he's always seen so much of himself in him. Spider-man shows that you truly don't have to be the strongest or the biggest person to make a difference. Ryder is brave, kind, determined, and always tries to help others even when things are not easy. Ryder also loves the witty charisma that makes spider-man stand out. Ryder loves that spider-man is strong and heroic but never stops being silly, funny, and himself.
Ryders love for superheroes came from his dads love for the marvel universe. When Ryder was younger his father pulled out his collection of marvel comic books and they would read them together. Shortly after, they began watching all of the Marvel movies together. Ryder fell in love with the marvel universe and his favorite superhero of all, Spider-Man. Ryder also said he admires those times with his father and Marvel helps remind him of those wonderful memories.
Ryder is not picky - his answer was "I'd be happy with any superpower at all". He said whether it is strength, webs, agility, speed, or flight, he would use the power to help everyday people just like his favorite superheroes. Ryder said he would want to use his powers responsibly because WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY.
