Deadpool is Ryders favorite superhero. Ryder likes Deadpool because he has swords, dances and laughs, and wears his favorite colors - black and red, and he fights for good things. Ryder also loves Spider-man, and The Flash. Ryder loves that Spider-man and Iron Man are smart thinkers who have friends and are superheros. He loves that the Flash runs fast like him and his brother Theo. Ryders big brother Theo loves to "Zoom". Ryder and Theo love to play chase and Zoom around everywhere they can.
Ryders love of superheros started around his first birthday. Ryder says he noticed that superheros could do cool things like swing webs, run super fast, jump super high, fly and do things he wished he could do. With high energy, and a busy curious mind, Ryder is always jumping and testing his limits. He climbs high, hangs from gym bars, balances, and exercises to someday be a superhero. He loves the arts and often draws and creates to help regulate his nervous system.
Ryder would want the power to travel to other dimensions like Spot. He says if he could travel like Spot, there's no need for a jet or other ways to travel. Having left Clubfoot, Ryder went through a series of leg/foot castings, requiring a surgery and him to wear special boots and bars for until he turned 4 years old. He doesn't want anything to keep him from moving around and doing the things he dreams of.
