The Winter Soldier has always been my favorite and most admired hero because he fights by the side of Steve Rogers. Even after being mind controlled by HYDRA and dealing with the trauma that came from that, he was never jealous of Cap or angry toward him; he always looked up to him. Bucky never acted salty because he was the "sidekick," he used it as an opportunity to learn.
My love of superheroes comes initially from my parents, but a lot of it came from the MCU adaptations: sitting in the front rows of as many theaters we could get to. I've spent all my life watching the same Captain America and Iron Man movies over and over, never getting tired of it. Later on, my love only grew when I started asking my mom to buy all the comic books I could carry.
I think my superpower would be manifesting friends and past experiences as spirits and using them to guide me through my most difficult challenges. A lot of the struggles I've gone through in my life have had the answers right in front of me; this power would remind me that sometimes all you need is an open friend, some helpful advice and one last wind to get you back on your feet. This is a lesson I wish I'd learned sooner.
