Van’s middle name is Wild and he certainly lives up to it. He’s fearless, full of energy and always tries to do the right thing.
Thank you for generously supporting Van in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Daredevil is Vans favorite because he overcame a disability. When Van was born, he required a jaw distraction and a cleft palate repair when he was a toddler. We’ve instilled in him that no matter what you’re up against, you can overcome it and do great things.
His love stems from his dad’s love of superheroes and is something they love enjoying together. Whether is reading comics, watching movies, or designing their own superhero looks to fight battles against the bad guys (mainly mom, sister and dogs) they love doing it together.
Van wants the ability to time travel. He lost his papa a few years ago and says he would go back and change things so he was still here. And also wants to meet his geriatric dogs as puppies.
