Who is William's favorite superhero and why do they admire them?

Steph Curry and Spiderman are tied! Spiderman was an ordinary kid with superpowers that others could not see with the naked eye. His sidekicks are his friends and family. He grew up with self-doubt and curiosity. Rather than relying on conventionalism, Spiderman represents resilience, thinking outside the box, overcoming feelings of being an outsider. He makes mistakes and trips up. His defining trait is that he always gets back up. His moves are epic and he is an all around good person.

Where did William's love of superheroes come from?

In the mind of a ten year old boy who navigates the challenges of double-digit dyslexia everyday, the universe of superheroes is an imaginative and comforting inspiration. W is naturally drawn to larger than life figures not only because they possess extraordinary abilities, but also because they remain surprisingly relatable on a social and emotional level. Their physiques are also inspiring and represent a powerful manifestation of athleticism. resilience, and potential.

What superpower would William want and why?

At William's school dyslexia is presented as a Superpower. He already has a Superpower that he is growing into. A child with the "superpowers" of dyslexia and Spider-Man share a surprising number of core traits, particularly in how their brains process the world, how they solve complex problems, and how they navigate material, dynamic and interconnected thoughts. So maybe instead of asking "what" it should simply be "when?"
