Spiderman. He loves that Spiderman uses his power to protect people while still trying to live a normal life and be a good person without the powers. He also likes making people laugh, and Spiderman tries to be lighthearted while fighting.
His father has taught him that he needs to be "Capable in every situation" so that he can run towards danger and be an asset in every situation, instead of a liability.
Xander wants to be strong and physical in his powers. He is small for his age. As a martial artist, speed and accuracy are regular training items. All of that said, he wants his superpower to be brave and helping others. Even his competitors are encouraged by a kid that is smaller than them that their effort matters. He understands that he has the power to help, even without powers. He also wants animals to love him back.
