Zaiden loves Spider-Man because he’s more than strong, he’s intelligent, resourceful, agile, and always aware of the world around him. Zaiden admires how Spider-Man uses his gifts to protect others and believes being a hero means using what you have to make a difference. He also loves his web shooter, web slinging, and cool costumes, especially the ones created by Iron Man!
Zaiden’s love of superheroes was passed down from me, his dad, who grew up with action figures, reading comics, watching superhero cartoons, and live action movies. His late brother shared that same passion including their love for superhero costumes. Today, Zaiden and I collect superhero toys together, building a collection we hope to pass down to future generations.
At first Zaiden said flight then after further thinking he chose super intelligence because he loves learning and solving problems. He’d use his mind to tinker, invent cool tech, overcome challenges, and find ways to help and protect others, just like a true superhero.
