Zion’s superpower is his heart. He’s kind, thoughtful, smart, and determined, always helping others and inspiring everyone around him.
Thank you for generously supporting Zion in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Spider-Man is Zion’s favorite because he shows that being a hero isn’t about being perfect it’s about being brave, kind, and using your gifts to help others. Zion admires his intelligence, creativity, humor, and determination to never give up.
Zion’s love of superheroes was first sparked by his mom, a lifelong Marvel fan. As we shared that passion, it became uniquely his. He loves the idea of superpowers being strong, flying, and having the ability to save and help people. He’s drawn to heroes who are courageous, creative, intelligent, and determined to help others. His imagination and kind heart make superheroes more than characters; they inspire him to believe in what’s possible and use his gifts to make a difference in the world!
Zion’s ideal superpower set combines flight, super strength, healing, and the ability to bring his creative imagination to life. While flying high and having incredible strength would be amazing, his true focus is using those gifts to help people. He would use his healing power to cure anyone of anything, while using his endless imagination and creative drive to solve real problems, uplift those around him, and turn his biggest ideas into reality to make the world a genuinely better place.
